Family Protection Dog Training
The Family Protection Dog training program has been developed in response to the increasing demand for at home
security that extends in house security systems and other existing technology.
Security Dog Training
Security dogs are used in a wide variety of circumstances and settings. They work with a handler, and are used
to provide security and protection at events, venues and to individuals or groups.

Guard Dog Training
Guard dogs are used to protect property in the main. They are trained to
protect property from intruders and to do so using force. They are trained to respond with aggression if their
area of control is breeched.

FAMILY PROTECTION DOG TRAINING
Training dogs to offer protection to individuals, families and homes is an increasingly important part of our
range of training services. Where there are potential security risks to people and property a trained
protection dog is a valuable asset that extends any other security measures already in place. The family
protection dogs provide peace of mind and a companion that is dependable and tested in all situations.

What can be expected from a dog that has undergone Protection Training?
The Family Protection Dog must remain one of the family, and maintain good behaviour with
the whole family, in particular children in the family

What involvement does the dog owner have in the Family Protection Training?
It is our preference that the owner is involved in the training program, however it is not
essential. Dogs can be trained independent of the owner and on completion of the program the owner is
trained in the proper handling of the animal.
At all times Ultimate Canine Protection Force assesses the competence of the owner to be in
charge of a trained dog. Prior to accepting the owner into the program, both the dog and the handler are
required to undertake an assessment as to the suitability for this type of advanced dog handling.
